Representatives of EUA, GSU and YeTRI participated in the 2025 IEEE European Technology and Engineering Management Conference, held in Belgium from 23 to 27 May, followed by the CompIIT Erasmus+ Project Consortium Meeting and Workshop at KU Leuven.
The EUA delegation included Gohar Avetisyan, Vice-Rector for External Relations and Internationalization; Karine Sargsyan, Head of the Department for Quality Assurance and Educational Reforms; Narine Kirakosyan, Dean of the Faculty of Management and Marketing; and Sona Hakobyan, Head of the Department of Applied Linguistics. During the conference, the EUA representatives presented two academic papers:
“Critical Discourse Analysis of Smart City Narratives”
“The Role of Electronic Governance in Increasing the Efficiency of the Legislative Authority of the Republic of Armenia”
The conference also provided opportunities for networking with international researchers and exploring potential joint research and Scopus-indexed publications. As part of the subsequent CompIIT Erasmus+ Consortium Meeting and Workshop, partners reviewed project progress, discussed upcoming activities and confirmed the programme and organizational details for the CompIIT event to be held in Armenia in October 2025.
The event strengthened international research cooperation, institutional networking and collaboration among EUA, GSU, YeTRI and European partner institutions, contributing to the further development of joint academic and Erasmus+ activities.
