We are proud to announce that within the scope of the CompIIT Erasmus+ Project the EUA faculty members Dr., Associate Professor Karine Sargsyan, Dr., Associate Professor Sona Hakobyan, Dr., Associate Professor Narine Kirakosyan and CompIIT Coordinator and EUA Associate Professor Gohar Avetisyan have contributed to international scholarly research with two articles published in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library, one of the world’s leading scientific and technical research platforms, following their presentation at the 2025 IEEE European Technology and Engineering Management Summit (E-TEMS) held in Bruges, Belgium.
“The Role of Electronic Governance in Increasing the Efficiency of the Legislative Authority of the Republic of Armenia” under the co-authorship of Karine Sargsyan, Gohar Avetisyan, and Narine Kirakosyan explores how electronic governance systems can enhance the efficiency, transparency, and inclusiveness of the legislative process in Armenia. The study proposes solutions aimed at improving legislative quality, strengthening public participation, and supporting evidence-based legislative reforms.
“Critical Discourse Analysis of Smart City Narratives” under the co-authorship of Sona Hakobyan and Gohar Avetisyan examines how language is used to construct and disseminate smart city ideologies. Through Critical Discourse Analysis, the research highlights the role of discourse in framing cities as innovative and future-oriented while emphasizing the importance of equity, inclusivity, and democratic participation.
