An interactive meeting was held at the European University of Armenia with representatives of the business sector, during which Dr. Peter Arras, Head of International Relations at the Faculty of Engineering Technologies of KU Leuven University, presented how they establish effective connections between the business community and the academic environment in Belgium.
Within the framework of the “CompIIT Erasmus+” project, the CompIIT virtual laboratory was launched to foster closer cooperation between EUA students, faculty members, and representatives of the business community.
The meeting featured an engaging Q&A session between EUA employers, partner organizations, and Dr. Arras, focusing on opportunities for collaboration and the development of students’ practical training.
At the end of the event, five cooperation agreements were signed within the framework of the “CompIIT Erasmus+” virtual laboratory between the university and the following organizations:

  • Yerevan Research Institute of Communications
  • Agroleasing leasing credit company
  • English House Language Center and two other organizations
  • Environmental public advocacy center
  • Institute for Informatics and Automation Problems․
    This collaboration will allow students, during their practical training, to
    •Participate in real projects,
    •Work alongside experienced professionals,
    •Provide and receive guidance under the supervision of both university and company mentors.
